What if creativity isn’t something you have – it’s something you practice? Democracy depends on people who can imagine futures that do not yet exist. Creativity is how we practice that capacity. Creativity is often mistaken for artistic talent. It is the human capacity to notice patterns, imagine alternatives, connect unlikely ideas, adapt to change, and solve problems with others. In a world of increasing complexity, creativity isn’t a luxury – it’s an essential practice for learning, leadership, collaboration, and democracy. This energetic, highly participatory workshop invites you to exercise your creativity like a muscle. Participants will explore habits that expand perspective, generate ideas, embrace uncertainty, and build on one another’s thinking. Along the way, we’ll discover that creativity is less about being original than it is about becoming more courageous, and more willing.
