Ms. Hanna Walker was honored at the June Brookdale Community College Board of Trustee’s meeting after serving with distinction as the Graduate Trustee from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. She also served as a valued member of the Student Success & Educational Excellence Committee, Audit Committee, Governance Committee, and Social Media Policy Sub-Committee.

“Trustee Walker was an active and dedicated member of the Board of Trustees, she recognized the value in representing the voice of our students, regularly providing a report on their perspective, and upheld the highest standards of personal and professional integrity as a board member,” said Dr. Henry Cram, chairman of Brookdale Community College Board of Trustees.

In her role as graduate trustee, Walker represented the students well and will be remembered for her care and concern for our students during the pandemic. She regularly sought opportunities to engage our current student body and encouraged their membership to the Brookdale Trustee Advisory Committee. In addition, she will continue to represent Brookdale Community College as she serves on the New Jersey Council of County Colleges Students and Alumni Committee.

“Trustee Walker earned respect and admiration from the College community and the members of the Board of Trustees. Her first-hand knowledge and experience she gained during her tenure as a Brookdale Student allowed her to provide valuable suggestions and comments that the Board gratefully received,” said Dr. David Stout, president of Brookdale Community College

The Board of Trustees, the president, and the entire College community extends their appreciation to Hanna Walker for her dedication, diligence, and unwavering commitment to Brookdale Community College.
