LINCROFT, NJ (Jan. 13, 2015) – Two prominent members of Monmouth County’s business and nonprofit sectors will join a team of instructors in Brookdale Community College’s Business and Community Development division beginning this February.

Monmouth Arts Executive Director Mary Eileen Fouratt will bring her nearly 20 years of nonprofit management experience to a course titled Board Development for Nonprofits, offered from March 25 to April 8 on the Lincroft campus.

Mary Eileen’s husband Robert Fouratt, managing partner of the Red Bank-based accounting firm The Curchin Group, LLC, will offer a comprehensive course in nonprofit financial management from Feb. 3 – 17 and on June 26.

Both courses are part of Brookdale’s Nonprofit Management Certificate program, which allows community members to learn valuable career skills and network with a wide range of industry professionals.

“As the nonprofit sector continues to grow, training programs like this can be a vital tool for local organizations and aspiring professionals,” said Dominic Latorraca, director of workforce training at Brookdale. “We are proud to welcome the Fouratts into our program and share their vast knowledge and experience with members of the community.”

Other courses offered this term include Fundamentals of Nonprofit Management; Strategic Planning for Nonprofits; and Fundraising and Marketing for Nonprofits.
