Two officers recently joined the ranks of the Brookdale Community College police force: Haaris Ahmad and Matthew Esposito. The officers took their oath of office on March 15, 2022 at a swearing-in ceremony officiated by Brookdale Community College Vice President Dr. Matthew Reed. Family members of the two officers attended the event along with members of the Brookdale community.

“We are very community-oriented at Brookdale,” said Dr. Reed. “Where being a police officer is widely respected and appreciated.”

Ahmad and Esposito were commissioned to be campus probationary police officers at Brookdale.

“We are pleased to welcome Haaris and Ahmad to our team,” said Brookdale Police Chief Robert Kimler.

“This is a safe community and our relations within the community are tremendous. It is important that we find the right people that will connect with our community. We are glad you are here to help ensure the safety and well-being of our students, employees and visitors.”
