Lincroft, NJ – OceanFirst Bank, through its OceanFirst Foundation, will award $50,000 in scholarship money to qualifying students attending Brookdale Community College in the form of fifty $1000 individual scholarships for the upcoming 2013 academic year. The scholarship is subject to minimum eligibility requirements and may only be used for tuition, fees or books. Deadline for the application submission is May 15, 2013.

For students interested in applying, the minimum eligibility requirements are the following:

• Applicants must be an incoming full-time freshman for the fall semester of 2013.

• Applicants must be a 2013 graduate from a High school within the OceanFirst Bank market area. (Please see Application for details)

• Applicants must currently reside in the OceanFirst Bank market area, which is Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex Counties

• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the time of application for admission and must provide a copy of their high school transcript.
