Brookdale Community College President David M. Stout, Ph.D., is being recognized across Monmouth County this spring for his leadership, vision, and lasting impact on students and the community.
Dr. Stout will be honored at two major events celebrating his commitment to expanding access to education and strengthening pathways to opportunity. On May 2, he will receive the Excellence in Leadership and Service Award at the 21st Annual Kentucky Derby Celebration, hosted by the Monmouth Park Charity Fund. Held at Monmouth Park Racetrack, the signature fundraiser supports local nonprofits that provide critical health services, assist vulnerable populations, and enrich the region through arts and environmental initiatives. With nearly $11 million awarded in grants to date, the organization continues to make a meaningful local impact.
Just one week later, on May 9, Dr. Stout will be celebrated once again at CARC’s 14th Gala, Where The Light Meets The Sea, at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel. The evening will highlight his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to student success values that have guided Brookdale’s continued growth and community engagement.
Under Dr. Stout’s leadership, Brookdale has expanded educational access, strengthened workforce partnerships, and created innovative programs that empower students to thrive. These recognitions reflect not only his professional achievements, but also his deep commitment to serving others and helping communities flourish.
As Brookdale continues to evolve, Dr. Stout’s leadership remains a driving force, lighting the way forward for students and the region alike.
