Brookdale Community College Sophomore, Theodore Purdon, and freshman, Casey Brown, were awarded 1st Team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region in men’s cross country, and leading the pack to win the NJCAA Region XIX Championship for the second year in a row.

Purdon came in 1st place overall at the NJCAA Region, the first Brookdale individual runner to win back-to-back Region XIX Championships, on top of beating his course personal record by 11 seconds with a time of 28:00 minutes. Crossing the finish line in 7th place overall, 2nd for the Jersey Blues, was freshman, Casey Brown. He had the best race of his career at 30:22, and beat his course personal record by two minutes and 24 seconds.
