Come and see student artworks and drawings at the Center for Visual Arts (CVA) Gallery at Brookdale from March 25 to April 10. The event will feature 3-D interior design layouts, colorfully printed posters, computer-aided architectural site drawings and hand-crafted architectural models.
Students whose works are featured include:
- Alex Mirra (Old Bridge, NJ), Freehold Light Rail Station Design
- Arielle Napolitano (Eatontown, NJ,) Sweet Destruction Concert Poster
- Mikaela Kozak (Point Pleasant, NJ), Studio Retail Project
- Collin Halligan (Atlantic Highlands, NJ), A Dozen Dogs Concert Poster
- Dan Crespo (Matawan, NJ), After Image Concert Poster
“Our exhibit represents a broad range of our students’ work and displays their considerable talents,” said Marie Maber, professor in the art department and CVA Gallery coordinator.
Students submitted works from various class projects from pencil renderings to computer-aided images. The featured works highlight three Brookdale programs that offer art students the opportunity to advance into careers in architecture, interior design and graphic design.
The Gallery is located in the CVA Building and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit is free.
