Three Jersey Blues men’s basketball teammates have been named to first, second, and third All-GSAC teams for the 2021-2022 season.

First team selection, freshman guard, Kevin Mateo of Hackensack, NJ, (Hackensack High School), made 27 game appearances with 17.1 average points per game (462 total), 110 total rebounds, 111 assists, 68 steals, and shot 83% from the free throw line. Mateo is an undecided major at Brookdale Community College.

Second team selection, sophomore forward, Fres Cabrera of Perth Amboy, NJ, (Perth Amboy High School), tallied 17.6 points, and 9.8 rebounds per game, with 52 assists, and 33 steals. Cabrera is a Physical Education major at Brookdale Community College and was awarded Student Athlete of the Month.

Third team selection, freshman forward, Niles Halliburton of Matawan, NJ, (Matawan High School), appeared in 27 games, averaged 10.7 points per game (289 total), 6.6 rebounds (179 total), 44 assists, and 19 steals. Halliburton is an undecided major at Brookdale Community College.
