The Brookdale Women’s Soccer team has earned a bid to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division III Women’s Soccer National Championship Tournament after claiming the Region XIX District East A title vs. Camden County College on Saturday, October 30, 2021. The Brookdale Jersey Blues beat Camden Cougars 6-0 to clinch their first trip to the national tournament under Head Coach Nil Onder.

Awarded Defensive Player of the Game was Paige Coulahan, from Howell, NJ and Offensive Player of the Game went to Jada Trotta, from Middletown, NJ, who scored four goals in the game.

The Women’s Soccer National Championship Tournament, Division III, will take place at Genesee Community College in Batavia, NY, on November 11-14, 2021.

The #5 nationally ranked Jersey Blues have five student-athletes named to NJCAA All-Region XIX and Division III All-Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Teams. Freshman Goalkeeper Emma Bennett, Sophomore Forward Jada Trotta, and Freshman Defender Paige Coulahan were selected to the first team, Freshman Defender Hailey Kret, and Freshman Midfielder Lianna Quezada earned spots on the second team.

In addition, Coulahan, Trotta, and Kret earned GSAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors and Emma Bennett as GSAC Goalkeeper of the Week throughout the regular season.
