LINCROFT, NJ (Sept. 15, 2015) – Recent high school graduates Martin Rather and Lila Rimalovski will host a free discussion and signing of their book “The High School Truth” at 6 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Scroll and Pen Bookstore, located on Brookdale Community College’s Lincroft campus.

The book combines the accounts and experiences of 35 diverse high school students from across the country, offering tips and strategies on topics such as standardized testing and school romances. Intended for incoming high school students and parents, “The High School Truth” is described as a “nonfiction, life-based guidebook” for American adolescents.

Rather, the grandson of renowned journalist Dan Rather, also wrote the novel “Taking the Course” when he was 15. He and Rimalovski are now college freshmen.
