Robert J. Collins Arena

The Arena contains 4-lane indoor track on the upper level that is 1/10 of a mile (10 laps = 1 mile).

This track is available to Fitness Center members during scheduled hours Monday through Friday. The track is also used for fitness and recreation courses, team conditioning exercises, and community events. During these times, it is not available for general use.

The Arena ground floor provides over, 23,000 square feet of event space, with seating 2,000 spectators.

The main floor of the Arena has a distinct floor plan and is approximately 14,000 square feet. The seating layout forms the shape of the capital letter D”, with one straight section and two curved sections. New bleachers were installed in the two curved sections and premium seats (individual stadium seats with back support) were added to the straight section. The basketball hoops are portable, and the bleachers can be pulled out by sections or pushed in completely.

Parking Lots 6 & 7 are available during events. Accessible parking is available in Lots 6 & 7.

Guests can purchase tickets for events online, by telephone, or at the box office located in the main lobby of the Collins Arena. The box office telephone number is 732-224-2070.

The Collins Arena features a seating capacity of 2,000 for multiple events. Stadium seats, bleacher seats, and floor seating are available. The BREC offers 1,100 seats during events. Floor seating is also available upon request.

The hospitality suite provides an exclusive atmosphere during events for 24 guests. The suite includes 12 padded stadium seats and 12 padded high-top chairs that overlook the event floor. Eight leather, lounge chairs are also available for guests.

Yes, concession stands can be found in both the Collins Arena and BREC.

Concession stands in the Collins Arena and BREC accept both cash and credit.

Yes. The closest ATM, from Bank of America, is located in the Warner Student Life Center.

Each stand offers fountain drinks, hot dogs, hot pretzels, personal pizzas, chips, candy, cookies, and other snack favorites.

No. The following items are not permitted inside of either facility: Glass Bottles/Cans-Alcoholic Beverages – Coolers/Ice Chests/Thermoses – Open Containers – Outside Food or Beverages.

Yes, stadium seats and floor seats are available during special events in the Collins Arena. Floor seats can also be available upon request in the BREC.

Yes, standing room is only available in the Collins Arena around the upper level on the track, above the bleacher seats. Guests are not allowed to block entrance/exit points to the bleachers.

Yes, accessible seating can be found next to both sides of the hospitality suite, on the upper level, above the stadium seats in the Collins Arena. Designated locations can also be found in the BREC for accessible seating.

Yes, one elevator can be found in both the Collins Arena and BREC.

Guests are allowed to bring strollers into both facilities and should seek the nearest usher to locate the best seating location.

Yes, one family restroom can be found in both the Collins Arena and BREC.

Unless trained as a therapy dog, pets are not permitted inside of the Collins Arena or BREC.

Only the Collins Arena track is available to the general public Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm. Please note that special events and intercollegiate competitions may take place during these times. When events are in progress, the track is no longer available for general use.

The lost and found for Collins Area and BREC Events is located in the Event Management Office, Room 112 of the Robert J. Collins Arena.

At this time, Brookdale Community College does not allow tailgating before, during, or after events.

Brookdale Community College promotes and enforces a tobacco-free environment at all campus locations. Use of tobacco products is prohibited, except in private vehicles.
