Nutrition Hub

 

We are grateful to the RWJBarnabas Health Monmouth Medical Center for their generous donation to establish the Nutrition Hub in the Caroline Huber Holistic Wellness Center.

With their assistance, the Nutrition Hub, which was previously called the Helping Hands Lounge, provides food and basic necessities to support our students, and the community.

Operational hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Nutrition Hub currently serves the Brookdale community through the following programs:

Grab and Go Meals

Offered Monday- Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to anyone who is hungry and in need of food. No questions are asked.

Weekly Groceries

For anyone facing food insecurity, a bag of groceries, suited to the number of members in the household can be picked up weekly. Please fill out this application to receive weekly grocery items through the pantry: Application

Additionally, the Nutrition Hub hosts the mini-resource fair where groceries and fresh produce are distributed. Please check the calendar for dates and times.

Need Help with Food Assistance Resources?

The Caroline Huber Holistic Wellness Center’s Navigator, Dayna Marchek (dmarchek@brookdalecc.edu |  732.224.2800) is available to help you book an appointment to set up or check on your  SNAP benefits by placing you into contact with a Monmouth County Social Worker who you can meet at the Wellness Center free of charge on the Lincroft campus.
