The Brookdale Jersey Blues baseball team has been ranked #6 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DIII polls for Week-2, March 20, 2023.

They are currently 14-2 overall and defeated Atlantic Cape Community College with an 18-7 final score. Freshman pitcher Nick Timpanelli got the win, and freshman DH Ryan Cole hit a homer and a double to drive in four RBIs.

Freshman pitcher, Nick Timpanelli, got the win in four innings after striking out nine and allowing just three hits. Two sophomores, center fielder Christian Bauman and infielder Marcus Johnson contributed three RBIs a piece. Bauman ripped a triple and a double, and Johnson belted three hits, including two doubles. Single RBIs came from sophomore first baseman John Wade, freshman right fielder Nick Lovarco, and freshman second baseman Nick Colbert.

The team will play the Mercer County Community College Vikings on Thursday, March 23rd.
