Brookdale Cross Country Teams Support Local Non-Profit at Asbury Park’s Ninth Annual Santa Run

The Brookdale Community College women’s and men’s cross country teams came together to participate in the festive ninth annual Santa Run in Asbury Park. This fun-filled event brought over 2,000 Santas to the streets, all running to support Lunch Break, a Monmouth County non-profit dedicated to providing food, clothing, and services to those in need.

Sixteen participants represented the Jersey Blues, including current team members, alumni, coaches, and parents. Dressed as Santas, the runners joined 2,168 total participants for a 5K run that not only celebrated the holiday spirit but also highlighted the importance of community support.

The Brookdale teams demonstrated their commitment to making a difference, showing that teamwork extends beyond the track and into the heart of their community.
