Brookdale Launches Accelerated Social Media Certificate

Brookdale Community College is introducing a new Academic Certificate in Social Media, designed for anyone interested in building or advancing a career in digital communication and marketing. Open to current students, working professionals, and individuals who already hold a degree in another field, the program offers a fast and flexible way to gain in-demand skills.

For the first time, the full certificate can be completed in an accelerated six-week format from May 18 through June 30, 2026, allowing participants to quickly build skills that can be applied immediately in the workplace.

This program prepares individuals to stand out in today’s competitive job market. It can be completed on its own or paired with any degree, making it a strong option for those looking to enhance their credentials or transition into a digital-focused role.

The nine-credit certificate emphasizes practical, real-world learning in communication, branding, and social media strategy. Through three courses, students gain hands-on experience building an online presence, crafting effective messaging, and creating data-driven campaigns that engage audiences and measure results. Skills that are valuable across industries.
