LINCROFT, NJ (July 7, 2016) – Residents interested in a career in automotive service and technology are invited to a free open house at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9 at Brookdale Community College, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft.

Attendees will be offered a guided tour of Brookdale’s automotive training facility, which includes a 12-bay training lab, professional grade classrooms with hydraulic lifts and industry-standard tools and equipment.

Certified Brookdale instructors will be on hand to discuss the college’s various automotive training programs, including a two-year degree program offered in partnership with General Motors (GM).

Students enrolled in the GM program spend half of each semester working at a local dealership or repair facility, earning a salary and professional experience while progressing toward a degree.

“These are affordable, nationally certified training programs that prepare students to start working right away,” said Brookdale automotive program coordinator Ivan Anderson. “And the vast majority of our graduates do just that.”

The information session will be held in the Brookdale Auto Tech Building, Room 102. Parking is in lot 6. For more information call 732-224-2778 or email ianderson@brookdalecc.edu.
