LINCROFT, NJ (October 20, 2014) – Noted painter Kimberly Cole Trowbridge will give a free presentation at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft on Nov. 13 as part of the college’s Visiting Artist Program.

Beginning at 7 p.m. in the Center for Visual Arts gallery, Trowbridge will discuss her unique approaches to art, color and the concept of building a “visual language” through painting.

“I believe that in sharing my process others can realize their own unique vocabulary for witnessing and expressing their experience,” said Trowbridge, a 2014 Nebby Award finalist.

Trowbridge’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions from New York City to Seattle, where she currently runs a private painting school. She also leads international plein air painting tours in Spain and Portugal.

As part of the Visiting Artist Program, Trowbridge will also offer a two-hour workshop to Brookdale art students. The program, now in its second year, is funded by private donations and a grant from the Monmouth County Arts Council.
