The Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education (Chhange) at Brookdale Community College will host Keeping it Real: Rendering Lost Voices from the Black Stage on Tuesday February 25 at 11:30 a.m. in the Navesink Rooms in the Student Life Center.

Taylor Barfield, literary manager at Two River Theater and D.F.A. Candidate at the Yale School of Drama, will lead a discussion on how Black playwrights have framed and re-framed ideas of authentic Black experiences in the United States. He will explore how theatrical representations have been used to achieve and impede Black liberation in the United States.

Admission is $10 for the general public and free for Brookdale students, faculty, and staff.

Attendees are asked to pre-register online at https://www.chhange.org/exhibits-events/events/keeping-it-real. Parking is available in Lot 7 on campus.
