At the 52nd Annual Valor Awards Luncheon last month, former Assemblywoman and business leader Mary Pat Angelini was sworn-in as President of The 200 Club of Monmouth County. She succeeds Benjamin J. Lucarelli, former mayor of Fair Haven and real estate professional.

Joining Angelini in leadership roles, Edward Kirschenbaum, a retired law enforcement professional, was sworn in as Vice President. Former Monmouth County Prosecutor John Kaye remained on as Secretary, while Dominick J. Mazza, Jr. was named Treasurer of the organization.

“It’s a true honor for me to serve as President of The 200 Club of Monmouth County, an organization that dedicates itself to supporting our law enforcement and first responder communities in their time of need,” said Angelini. “I’m so grateful for the tremendous work of Ben Lucarelli in growing this organization, and I look forward to continuing to build on his success. As President, it will be my mission to let every Monmouth County first responder know that the 200 Club has their backs, and we thank them for their hard work, dedication, and bravery.”

Angelini is recognized as one of New Jersey’s most respected leaders on behavioral health care issues. She has devoted her career to fighting for children and families. Before joining Preferred Behavioral Health Group, Angelini served as executive director of Prevention First, overseeing programs addressing substance use, violence, and bullying.

Among her many leadership roles, Angelini serves as the 2nd Vice President of the Jersey Shore Partnership, a member of the Brookdale Community College Board of Trustees, and a Board of Education member of College Achieve Charter School of Asbury Park. Her commitment to New Jersey families and leadership in the business community have earned her numerous awards from local, state, and national organizations.

Ed Kirschenbaum, the new Vice President, is a retired former chief of detectives at the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and owner of E. Kirschenbaum & Associates LLC, specializing in investigations and security risk assessments.

John Kaye, who continues as Secretary, served as Monmouth County Prosecutor for 22 years and held prominent roles in national and international prosecutors’ associations. Currently, he is an attorney with Lomurro, Davison, Eastman, & Munoz in Freehold and a long-time trustee of The 200 Club.

Dominick J. Mazza, Jr., the newly appointed Treasurer, is a respected business leader and owner and Vice President at Mazza Recycling. He has served as a trustee of The 200 Club since 2021.
