LINCROFT, NJ (June 15, 2017) – Brookdale Public Radio’s annual Songwriters on the Beach concert series will return to Belmar this summer with weekly performances by acts such as Sonny Landreth, Wesley Stace, Tommy Stinson, Ari Hest, Hamish Anderson and The Grip Weeds.

The free, open-air concert series will run from July 13 through Aug. 31. Concerts are held every Thursday night at 7 p.m. on the Belmar boardwalk at 5th and 6th avenues. In the event of rain, concerts will be held inside the Taylor Pavilion.

“This year’s series will have everything, and the lineup is possibly the best we have ever offered,” said Brookdale Public Radio station manager Thomas Brennan. “We invite all community members to come hang out with us, relax in the sand and see some truly amazing live music.”

This year’s lineup is: Hamish Anderson and Them Vibes on July 13; Tommy Stinson and Allison Pierce on July 20; Sonny Landreth and Anthony Krizan on July 27; Ari Hest and Keith Monacchio on Aug. 7; The Grip Weeds and The Anderson Council on Aug. 10; Wesley Stace and The Howling Tongues on Aug. 17; Quiet Hollers and Peter Searcy on Aug. 24; and Anthony D’Amato and Don Dilego & The Touristas on Aug. 31.
