Statement of Purpose
The Aim of The STEM Student Lectures and Research club is to give students a platform to complete descriptive research into a STEM topic they are passionate about, honing their scientific intuition, presentation/public speaking skills, and research skills. Club members who are interested may be given a public panel organized by the club executive board where they can explain their findings, and its importance. The goal of the STEM student lectures is to foster student learning and curiosity and give them an outlet to express this. Additionally, this will serve to unite STEM students of different disciplines and raise awareness of current scientific problems that will require solutions from a varied team of experts.
