Brookdale Community College is pleased to announce that President David M. Stout, Ph.D., has been named to ROI-NJ’s Influencers: Higher Education 2022 list. Each year, ROI-NJ lists the presidents with the greatest influence and impact on their schools and within the business community.  

A longtime leader in the state, the school serves more than 20,000 students at its six locations throughout Monmouth County, including the picturesque 220-acre main campus in Lincroft.  

Over the past year, Brookdale Community College was ranked #1 in offering the best community college programs in New Jersey, according to research by It has also been recognized for four top programs in the United States by, and for two years in a row, recognized among the top-ranked institutions offering the Best Associate in Psychology Degree Programs, together with the Best Transfer Program, positioning itself as a frontrunner for preparing students for a four-year degree at a university or college. Additionally, Brookdale was recognized by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as a top producer of Gilman International Scholarship recipients over the past twenty years in the Study Abroad category.
