Students can learn more about study abroad opportunities at the Study Abroad Fair on February 6.

At the Study Abroad Fair, students can learn about the opportunities to study or even intern abroad in the summer and fall of 2020 as well as in spring 2021. Students will have the opportunity to meet Brookdale faculty who are leading study abroad programs and representatives from international colleges and universities from the College Consortium for International Studies. Students can also find out more about potential scholarships and financial aid. Prizes, give-aways and refreshments are also part of the Study Abroad Fair.

Studying abroad helps students learn new languages, appreciate other cultures, make new friends and gain a better understanding of the world. According to research from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), first-generation college students who participate in study abroad opportunities greatly benefit from the experience as shown in their level of engagement in deep learning and career readiness competencies. The advantage of a study abroad opportunity has been shown to benefit all students.
