Community Colleges: Where Opportunity Begins!
FY27 Budget Engagement
The Office of Governmental Affairs and Community Relations (GACR) has been actively engaging New Jersey State Legislators throughout the FY27 budget process to advance priorities that strengthen access, affordability, and student success.
As the entry point for nearly half of New Jersey’s four-year students, community colleges deliver a high-value return—serving more students per state dollar through lower tuition while accelerating student progress.
Our goal within the Governor’s proposed budget is clear: Same Funding, Better Outcomes.
