Grog’s Surf Palace x Billabong NJ is on the hunt for sales associates to add to our team!

Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Team Associates to join our team. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will contribute significantly to creating a welcoming shopping experience & driving sales. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of retail sales operations, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.

 

Job Responsibilities

Tasks will vary, but will generally include:

-Greeting & assisting all customers with a friendly, positive vibe.

-Handle sales transactions accurately using POS software; must feel comfortable handling & counting cash.

-Providing styling advice & recommendations to clients; upselling complimentary products to maximize sales opportunties.

-Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customers professionally, positively, & promptly.

-Assisting in the organization of stock & helping maintain a clean, shoppable store.

-Tagging merchandise efficiently & properly.

-Occasional help with creative projects & social media.

 

Qualifications

-Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, but no required we can train you.

-Familiarity with upselling techniques and customer engagement strategies.

-Proficiency with POS systems, cash register operations. Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions.

-Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on clear, respectful interaction with customers.

-Knowledge of stores product & customers needs/wants.

-Strong organizational skills.

-Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $16-20 per hour
