Created for design students with prior sewing and pattern-making experience, this course guides participants through the creation of a complete summer dress from concept to finished garment. Work in Brookdale’s sewing studio while refining techniques in design, construction, and finishing. Required materials will be reviewed in the first session; students provide fabric and supplies. Students must have 5 yards of muslin drafting fabric. Sewing machines and tools are available for use. Ages 18+
