As part of the Stigma-Free Speaker Series, this talk will focus on a name, the expectations that come with it, and the desire to break free from them. The speaker will reflect on legacy, gender identity, neurodivergence, and how they shape what they are now. They will also discuss how the internet, video games, and TTRPGs (tabletop role-playing games) have created the opportunity for them to define themselves outside of the confines of expectations placed on them at birth. Register in advance for the speech by Goop Ring (they/them) on April 28th at 11:45 a.m. EST: https://brookdalecc.zoom.us/meeting/register/rmtwkGqvThW1Drtva3gT_A
