100 Year Commemoration of Derby-Winning Filly, Regret

Tuesday, April 28, 2015 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Regret was the first filly (female horse) to ever win the Kentucky Derby – on May 8, 1915. She was foaled and trained here when the property was known as Brookdale Farm. Join us on April 28, 2105 at the Student Life Center on Brookdale’s Lincroft campus at 11:30 am as we commemorate Regret’s historic win – almost 100 years ago to the day! Scholar’s Day

Scholars Day 2015 will be held in the Warner Student Life Center and Larrison Hall on Thursday. May 14, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Scholars Day has several purposes: Showcase research, including methodologies and conclusions Share innovative ideas, concepts and works Expand our knowledge base beyond the traditional classroom Provide an opportunity to socialize with members of the campus community outside of one’s own department.
