The panelists bring valuable insights and experiences, and we will explore the challenges, triumphs, and aspirations of women in our society.

Here are the panelists:

Assemblywoman & Attorney Vicky Flynn: Vicky Flynn has been practicing law for over 20 years and been an assemblywoman since 2022, serving as Deputy Conference Leader of the republican caucus since January 2024. Asw. Flynn represents the 13 legislative districts, which includes parts of Monmouth County. She currently sits on the Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee, the Assembly Housing Committee, and the Assembly Judiciary Committee.

Assemblywoman Carol Murphy: Carol Murphy began her career in public service at the New Jersey Schools Development Authority. In 2017, Asw. Murphy became the first Assemblywoman to represent legislative district 7 in over 20 years. Asw. Flynn district covers most of Burlington County. She is currently serving her fourth term in the State Assembly. She has served as Majority Whip since 2022 and served as Deputy Majority Leader from 2020 to 2022. She currently serves as Vice-Chair on the Assembly Judiciary Committee, the Assembly Budget Committee and the Assembly Public Safety and Preparedness Committee.

Professor & Attorney Paula Franzese: Professor Paula A. Franzese is the Peter W. Rodino Professor of Law and Director of the Leadership Fellows Program. Nationally renowned for her excellence in teaching, she is the unprecedented ten-time recipient of the Student Bar Association’s Professor of the Year Award. In 2019 the award was renamed in her honor the Paula A. Franzese Professor of the Year Award. She served as a litigator with Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, where she was appointed to the New York City Housing Court Reform Project. She clerked for Justice Alan B. Handler of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Assemblywoman & Director of Business Development Michele Matsikoudis: Michele Matsikoudis has been an assemblywoman since 2022, serving as assistant conference leader since January 2024. She is also the Director of Business Development at Keller Williams – on the Sue Adler Team. Asw. Mastikoudis represents the 21st legislative district, which includes part of Morris County, Somerset County and Middlesex County. She currently sits on the Commerce, Economic Development and Agriculture Committee, the Education Committee, the High Education Committee and the Joint Committee on the Public Schools.
