Brookdale welcomed more than 30 international students last week for an orientation prior to the start of the academic year. The students represent more than 14 countries, including Brazil, China, Vietnam, Zambia and Germany, among others.

President David Stout told the students that diversity is one of Brookdale’s greatest strengths. He encouraged them to participate in classes, to get involved in the broad range of extracurricular activities and not to hesitate to take advantage of the resources of the Center for International Education and other campus offices.

Following the morning session, the new students toured the campus and completed introductions.
