On December 21, OceanFirst awarded $40,000 to Brookdale Community College Foundation for forty (40) $1,000 student scholarships supporting one of their core priority areas, youth development, and education.

“We are grateful that for more than 20 years, OceanFirst has been an extremely generous partner and supporter of the Foundation. Thanks to the OceanFirst Foundation Scholarship Program, so many deserving Brookdale students have received scholarships that support their education,” said Nancy Kaari, vice president of Advancement at Brookdale Community College.

OceanFirst Foundation empowers organizations to think bigger, solve more problems, and make life better in the neighborhoods served by OceanFirst Bank. OceanFirst Foundation’s priorities include Health & Wellness, Housing, Improving the Quality of Life, Youth Development and Education. Student applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the time of application and provide a copy of their high school or college transcript.
