Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time or part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals at our Wisconsin offices.

Job Responsibilities

-Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients’ mental health status, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests when necessary.

-Prescribe, recommend, or discontinue drugs and treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.

-Design/participate in the development of individualized treatment plans, incorporating best and leading practices into treatment interventions.

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

-Examine or order laboratory or diagnostic tests for clients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorders.

-Record all services performed for accurate billing for services provided in compliance with all local, state and federal laws, as well as payor rules and regulations. Submits billing documents in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

-Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing.

-Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health.

-At least 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders.

Preferred Experience:

-2+ years of experience as a psychiatric provider

-Experience in telemedicine

Licenses/Certifications:

-Must be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

-An unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice nurse (APN) in the state of Wisconsin.

-Must have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in New Jersey. -A state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) in Wisconsin.

Other Skills Required:

-Experience in delivering high-quality, client-centered care

-Able to document and navigate EHR independently

-Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

-Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality (HIPAA)

-Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Information

Job Location: Madison, WI.

Salary Range: $145,000.00 – $168,000.00 per year
