Position Summary

As a family-owned small business, Sneakers Plus has been serving the Jersey Shore area with our exceptional customer service for 40+ years. We are your local shop for running/walking footwear, sports cleats/accessories and local school apparel for Wall, Manasquan, St. Rose and CBA.

We are in need of an energetic, outgoing person to help oversee our retail sales floor. Working in a small business environment is unique in that the candidate must be able to engage with the customers on a local, personal level. We sell sneakers, sporting goods, and custom apparel, but we place a tremendous emphasis on the service we provide. The candidate needs to possess outstanding communication skills to be able to interact with customers positively and effectively.

We would expect the candidate to be able to assist in the operation of the sales floor, engage with customers, meet sales goals and increase profitability. Monitoring inventory levels, receiving products, creating visual merchandising spots would all be additional tasks.

Candidates with experience in sales especially retail will be strongly considered.

Our hours of operation are 10-6 Mon-Sat, 10-5 Sun. Weekend availability is necessary.

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

-Provide the highest level of customer service while helping on the sales floor

-Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

-Create social media posts, email blasts, other marketing duties
