We are looking for an X-Ray Technician to join our expanding team in our Edison location. Job Responsibilities

-Ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are in proper working condition and available for scheduled studies.

-Perform standard x-ray imaging as ordered in-house by providers.

-Operate fluoroscope (C-arm) during procedures.

-Position/reposition patients and equipment for static studies as well as fluoroscopy imaging during procedures.

-Send studies to radiologist for interpretation and receive/upload radiology reports to patient chart in EMR.

-Maintain QA for Radiology Department: daily warm-up and inspection, phantom images, and quarterly QA testing/logs.

-Review/distribute/collect radiation monitoring devices of all OR personnel and administrators monthly.

-Investigate any radiation exposures that are out of limits for monthly, quarterly, or yearly time periods.

-Other radiology-related tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

-Bachelor or Associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.

-Appropriate state licensure.

-Proven experience working as an X-ray technician.

-Working knowledge of radiographic equipment.

-Ability to physically assist patients in positioning for imaging studies.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Effective written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to navigate EMR systems.

-Familiarity with medical terminology.
