We are looking for an X-Ray Technician to join our expanding team in our Hamilton location. Job Responsibilities

-Ensure equipment is in proper working condition prior to imaging being performed.

-Ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are ready and available for scheduled studies.

-Perform standard x-ray imaging as ordered in-house by providers.

-Operate fluoroscope (C-arm) during procedures.

-Position/reposition patients and equipment for static studies as well as fluoroscopy imaging during procedures.

-Send studies to radiologist for interpretation and receive/upload radiology reports to patient chart in EMR

-Upload images from procedures to patient charts in EMR.

-Maintain QA for Radiology Department: daily warm-up and inspection, phantom images, and quarterly QA testing/logs.

-Review/distribute/collect radiation monitoring devices of all OR personnel monthly.

-Review radiation monitoring reports and distribute monthly to personnel and Administrator.

-Investigate any radiation exposures that are out of limits for monthly, quarterly, or yearly time periods.

-Other radiology-related tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

-Bachelor or Associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.

-Appropriate state licensure.

-Proven experience working as an X-ray technician.

-Working knowledge of radiographic equipment.

-Ability to physically assist patients in positioning for imaging studies.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Effective written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to navigate EMR systems.

-Familiarity with medical terminology.

Experience: C-Arm Medical Imaging: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification: ARRT Certification (Preferred)
