Brookdale Community College proudly announced that President David M. Stout, Ph.D., and Diane Raver, Director of the New Jersey Film Academy at Brookdale, were named to the prestigious INNOVATE100 list for 2025. This annual recognition celebrates leaders who have advanced innovation and driven meaningful change across New Jersey’s economy and communities.
Dr. Stout was honored for his visionary leadership in expanding community impact, driving student success, and increasing the accessibility of higher education to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. Under his leadership, Brookdale is positioned as a hub for opportunity and transformation, creating pathways that empowered students and strengthened the region.
Diane Raver was recognized for her trailblazing efforts in developing a strategic partnership with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) through the New Jersey Film Academy at Brookdale. This initiative is a game-changer for students and professionals looking to enter the film industry. By delivering high-quality, accessible education and clearly defined career pathways, the program will not only empower learners but also help build a skilled, diverse workforce that will fuel the growth of New Jersey’s film sector.
The INNOVATE100 celebration, hosted by Innovation+ and led by renowned innovation leader James Barrood, honored professionals from startups, corporations, nonprofits, government, and academia who shaped New Jersey’s innovation ecosystem.
The initiative was supported by organizations including Nokia Bell Labs, Rutgers, Valley Bank, Citrin Cooperman, Bell Works, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA), and Middlesex County.
