360 Virtual Reality Interactive for The Charles Sills Memorial Group Art Exhibit: Belonging. Presented by Monmouth Arts, Belonging ran from November 11 – December 15, 2022. The exhibit was an exploration of how our community imagines and celebrates a collective vision of belonging.

To extend those ideas and values, we have created this archival asset as an enduring resource for BCC faculty and students, as well as our wider community.

Belonging, curated by the Center for the Visual Arts Gallery Coordinator Elisa Elorza at the CVA Gallery at Brookdale Community College with Monmouth Arts. We set out to ask the creative Monmouth County community how they imagine and celebrate a collective vision of belonging. The unexpected range in responses offers a broader interpretation than we expected. This diversity of responses was welcomed and opened up new questions for us: How can we better understand one another through art? Can we let ourselves be moved by the work, and then move as a community towards a belonging that is shared.
