Dear Brookdale Community,
You are warmly invited to take part in a Community Mural Paint Day celebrating Brookdale’s new institutional values.
This mural is a collaborative art project created through the Whyman Center for Transformative Learning. It reflects the values that guide our community — Courage, Compassion, Collaboration, and Creativity — and we would love for members of the Brookdale community to help bring it to life. Murals create an institutional memory imprint; a robust reminder of who we are.
Community Mural Paint Day
📅 Tuesday, March 10
🕒 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM
📍 Whyman Center for Transformative Learning, MAN 114
Stop by for a few minutes or stay longer — all are welcome. No painting experience is required. Just come ready to contribute a brushstroke to a mural that represents the spirit and values of our college community.
This project is part of our ongoing effort to create spaces where students, faculty, and staff can create together, reflect together, and build a shared sense of belonging at Brookdale.
We hope you’ll join us.
Warmly,
Angela Kariotis
