Brookdale Community College women’s soccer alumna, Amy Beringer, made her fellow Jersey Blues proud as she graduated from the 53rd Special Law Enforcement Officer II Class on June 2, 2022. The ceremony was held in Brookdale’s own Robert J. Collins Arena. She then worked for the Spring Lake Borough Police Department as a Special Law Enforcement Officer – Class II.

Beringer, a Dean’s List student, was a defender for the Blues in the 2016 and 2017 seasons, then attended Ramapo College and played there. She graduated from Rutgers University and the Monmouth County Police Academy. On June 29, 2022, she was sworn in as a full-time patrol officer with the Monmouth Beach Police. Upon completing her Field Training, she will be assigned to the Monmouth Beach Police Patrol Unit.
