LINCROFT, NJ (Jan. 29, 2015) – Community members ages 18 and up are invited to broaden their horizons this summer with a short-term study abroad course at Brookdale Community College.

The six-week summer courses, taught by Brookdale faculty, blend traditional classroom learning with one- to two-week guided excursions across the globe.

This year students can study English in Greece, statistics in Italy, or history and anthropology in Hawaii. Brookdale will also host a service learning experience at the University of Kigali in Rwanda.

Students who complete a study abroad course earn college credit that is transferrable to other colleges and four-year universities. The enrollment deadline for the Greece excursion is Feb. 9. The deadline for Italy and Rwanda is Feb. 16, and the deadline for Hawaii is March 2.
