Dr. Fidel Wilson Receives Prestigious Community Leadership Award

We were proud to announce that Fidel Wilson, Ed.D., Director of One Stop Services & Regional Locations at Brookdale Community College, was selected as an honoree at the 2025 Red and Black on the Green Gala hosted by the Monmouth County Diversity Alliance.

This prestigious honor celebrated Wilson’s years of dedicated service to the community—particularly through his leadership with the Minority Male Initiative Conference, which empowered countless young men through mentorship, access, and opportunity. His commitment to uplifting others and fostering pathways to success left an indelible impact across Monmouth County and beyond.

The Red and Black on the Green Gala was a Juneteenth commemoration uplifting Black excellence and honoring community members who exemplified leadership, integrity, mentorship, and compassion. The event brought together educators, small business owners, healthcare professionals, law enforcement personnel, and innovators to celebrate their lasting contributions.
