Parking Lot 5 to Main Academic North
MAP
The student speaker for this event reflects on a past experience of unrequited love — both from another person and within himself. His journey explores the impact of homophobia, emotional abuse, addiction, and grief. Through therapy and self-reflection, he continues to heal and move forward, embracing a growing sense of acceptance and optimism.
Hosted by the Psychology & Human Services Club, the Stigma Free Speaker Series invites students, alumni, and mental health professionals to have “Real Talk” about the stigma surrounding mental health. Together, both sharers and listeners help create a safe space for understanding, empathy, and connection.
