Welcome to Brookdale’s Office of Planning & Institutional Effectiveness (PIE)
This office functions as the official source of institutional data and information. On this site you will find information on who we are, what we do, and some interesting pieces of information on Brookdale and the surrounding community.
PIE’s mission is:
- To conduct analytical studies, assess student outcomes and institutional effectiveness, and provide information to college stakeholders in support of decision-making, institutional planning, and policy formation;
- To respond to external reporting requirements of Federal and State agencies, including the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), New Jersey’s Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE), and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education — Brookdale’s accrediting body;
- To schedule and guide faculty, administrators, and staff in their periodic assessment of academic programs and administrative units to optimize the units’ effectiveness and efficiency.
