Rapid HIV Testing

In recognition of World AIDS Day, Brookdale Community College will partner with the Prevention Resource Network and Project R.E.A.L. on Dec. 3 to offer free HIV testing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brookdale’s Warner Student Life Center, All community members are invited to stop by and help fight for an AIDS-free generation. Brookdale welcomes internationally recognized sculptor Stephen Talasnik to the Fall 2015 Visiting Artists Series. Talasnik’s first large scale, outdoor commission was for the Storm King Art Center in Mountainville, NY, where he designed and built “Stream,” a site-specific bamboo structure covering three acres (and which subsequently survived an earthquake, hurricane, and a winter of one of the worst snowfalls in recorded history in the Hudson Valley).
