- Hands-on experience is invaluable. Seek internships, part-time jobs, or student employment experiences related to your field of interest. Practical experience not only enhances your resume but also helps you understand the real-world applications of your studies.
- Networking is a powerful tool for career readiness. Attend career fairs, industry conferences, and alumni events. Don’t be shy about reaching out to professionals on LinkedIn or through your network. Building relationships can open doors to job opportunities and valuable insights.
- Employers highly value career readiness skills. Effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities are just as important as technical expertise. You can develop these skills through group projects, extracurricular activities, and volunteer work.

- Develop your elevator pitch which is a professional sounding introduction about yourself.
