Brookdale named their last season’s Interim Women’s Soccer Head Coach, Nil Onder, as the new and official head coach for the Jersey Blues. Onder has been affiliated with the women’s soccer program since she was a 2008-2009 student-athlete.

Onder joined the Jersey Blues coaching staff as a volunteer in 2014. A former soccer standout, Onder played midfield for Brookdale Community College in 2008 and 2009. As a Garden State Athletic Conference team champion in 2008, Onder brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the current coaching staff.

Brookdale officially hired Onder as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach in August 2016, and just one month later, she became the Specialist of Conference and Event Management for the College. Onder assisted Head Coach Katie Amundson in 2014 and 2015 to secure the team’s second and third consecutive national title of the program’s three-peat by winning their first national title in 2013.

In May 2020, Onder received a bachelor’s degree from Kean University in sports and event management. She resides in Howell, NJ.
