Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and energetic Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Christmas light installation team. This role oversees crew scheduling, inventory coordination, quality control, and ensures timely, safe, and beautifully executed lighting displays for residential and commercial clients.

Job Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

-Coordinate daily job schedules, routes, and crew assignments

-Manage multiple installations per day during peak season

-Conduct site visits to assess job readiness and verify quality

Team Leadership:

-Supervise and motivate installation crews

-Train new team members on safety, ladder work, and lighting techniques

-Ensure adherence to safety protocols and job site professionalism

Inventory & Equipment Management:

-Monitor inventory levels of lights, clips, cords, and supplies

-Coordinate ordering, storage, and maintenance of materials and tools

-Track returns and off-season storage for reusable décor

Customer Service & Communication:

-Act as point-of-contact for production-related client concerns

-Communicate effectively with the sales team and owner regarding project updates or changes

-Ensure work is completed on time and to client expectations

Post-Season & Off-Season Duties:

-Oversee take-downs and organization of returned materials

-Evaluate crew performance and assist in off-season planning

Optional: Assist in landscape/hardscape/garden center operations as needed

Qualifications

-2+ years of experience in field operations or production management (preferably in seasonal services, landscaping, or holiday lighting)

-Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

-Comfortable working on ladders and roofs, and managing safety protocols

-Ability to manage a fast-paced schedule and tight seasonal deadlines

-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

-Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Additional Information

Compensation:

-Competitive salary or hourly wage ($25–$35/hr depending on experience)

-Performance bonuses during peak season
