Join us at the brand new 20,000 sq ft indoor racquet club, Nicol NJ, located in Fort Monmouth, for an introductory padel class, the fastest-growing sport in the world! Whether you’re seeking a new hobby, a social sport, or a fun way to stay active, padel is easy to learn and exhilarating to play. Designed for beginners eager to grasp the basics in a fun and supportive atmosphere – this class is for you! Racquets and balls (similar to tennis balls) will be provided. All you need to bring is your energy and enthusiasm. Class meets at Nicol Squash: Racquet Sports Club and Courts, Fort Monmouth Riverwalk Center (850 Oceanport Ave, Oceanport). - Pickleball for Beginners
Find out why pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America! A paddle sport for all ages and skill levels, pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. The rules are simple, and the game is easy to learn. Don’t miss this addictive new form of fitness and fun. Taught by certified pickleball instructor. Have you ever hear of canasta and wondered what it is? Canasta is a card game played with a partner with four people playing a game. Enjoy a relaxed, stress-free environment to learn the basics from a patient teacher. Learn the rules of play, non-verbal ways to communicate with your partner, and strategies to win. Play casual practice games laughing as you learn. Come with a friend or on your own and meet others interested in playing. It’s great way to engage socially while stretching your mind. 7 SESSIONS

Ever wanted to play Mah Jongg? Come learn to play in a fun, relaxed setting! Learn how to choose a hand, the progressions of play, and strategies to win. Enjoy time for practice, with tips offered in a friendly and interactive environment. Meet other interested and individuals and perhaps form a game of your own with classmates. A Mah Jongg set is not needed to participate, but the latest 2025 Mah Jongg card is required along with pen and paper. The game is excellent for stretching your mind and socializing with friends. 7 SESSIONS

- Learn to Sail
Seas Monmouth, certified sailing instructors
Combined classroom and hands-on instruction provides the adult beginning sailor the skills and confidence to operate a small sailboat. Class includes four evening classroom sessions and two Saturday sailing sessions on the Shrewsbury River aboard 17-18 foot sloops (water sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather). Successful completion of the course leads to a SEAS Basic Sailing certificate. A basic swimming test is required (treading water and putting on a flotation device) administered during the second class. Students are required to provided a personal flotation device (PDF) for the water sessions. Required test: Learning to Sail: The Annapolis Sailing School Guide for All Ages. Ages 18 and up only. 6 SESSIONS
