The Faculty Data Books contain a wealth of information about program enrollment, retention, and completion. More specifically, each “book” consists of seven “chapters.”

Chapter One contains preliminary and final enrollment by program of study for the current Fall and Spring terms. This chapter also includes Freshman vs Sophomore status by program.

Chapter Two provides Fall term enrollment by course and course prefix, by Institute (or Division) over a five year period.

Chapter Three provides Spring term enrollment by course and course prefix, by Institute (or Division) over a five year period.

Chapter Four presents Spring term final grade distributions by course, within Institute (or Division, for earlier years).

Chapter Five presents Fall term final grade distributions by course, within Institute (or Division, for earlier years).

Chapter Six contains Graduates by program and degree type, across a five year period.  Three year graduation rates of first-time, full-time students are also presented by program and degree.

Chapter Seven provides retention rates by program.  For each “book” there is Fall to Spring retention; Fall to Fall retention; and Fall to Spring 2 Year retention.

There are three different update periods during a particular year or “book.” Sections within particular chapters are published to roughly coincide with College Faculty Days in September, January and May.
